Assembly table — a work station for assembly and service

An assembly table is the steel work station where components are put together, checked and serviced, from small sub-assemblies to larger units. In the assembly tables category you will find modular adjustable assembly tables (2- and 3-module versions), sets with WSZ cabinets and superstructures, rigid tables with an illuminated worktop in A0 and A1 formats, and the N-3-27-01 assembly station. The main benefit of the modular design: you start with the table alone and add cabinets and superstructures to suit the job. Types of assembly tables — series, codes and configurations

The range is split into several families. The letters in the codes (WL2R, WL3R, WS2R, WS3R) show the number of table modules, and the ending (e.g. -02, -07) is the number of the ready-made set. The full content of each set is given in the product name.

The rigid tables (for.A-0, for.A-1) are not sold as modular sets, whereas the WL and WS series are built from ready-made elements: table, WSZ cabinets and superstructures. Many sets can be combined with separate tool superstructures and lighting.

How to choose an assembly table — practical criteria

• Station length. The 2-module versions measure 730×1500×1235 mm and the 3-module versions 730×2000×1235 mm (sets with superstructure). Measure the available space and the walking area.
• Tool storage. Count the cabinets: the sets have one to three WSZ-E cabinets, some with an additional WSZ-A, B, C or D cabinet. For small parts, choose sets with several cabinets.
• Superstructure. The W-2N and W-3N superstructures keep tools and materials organised above the worktop. If you work directly at the worktop without shading, choose a variant without a superstructure.
• Adjustment. The WL and WS series are adjustable assembly tables. The for.A-0 and for.A-1 tables are rigid, so choose them for a fixed working height.
• Worktop lighting. For precision assembly, check the models with an illuminated A0/A1 worktop or add separate lighting.
• Material. In the sets with published data it is 2 mm steel; the N-3-27-01 station has a structure made of high-quality steel sheet.

Frequently asked questions about assembly tables

What is the difference between a 2-module and a 3-module assembly table?
The 2-module versions (WL2R and WS2R series) measure 730×1500×1235 mm in sets with a superstructure, the 3-module versions (WL3R and WS3R) 730×2000×1235 mm. The longer table gives more worktop area and takes more cabinets.

What do the codes WL2R, WL3R, WS2R and WS3R mean?
The digit in the code shows the number of table modules (2 or 3), and the number at the end identifies a ready-made set with specific WSZ cabinets and a superstructure. The contents are always stated in the product name.

Is the assembly table adjustable?
The WL2R, WL3R, WS2R and WS3R series are adjustable assembly tables; the word "adjustable" is in the name of each of these products. The for.A-0 and for.A-1 tables are rigid.

Can I buy the table without cabinets?
Yes. The WL2R-00 and WL3R-00 sets are adjustable tables on their own. WSZ-E cabinets and superstructures come in the other sets of the same series.

Is there an assembly table with an illuminated worktop?
Yes. The for.A-0 and for.A-1 models are rigid assembly tables with an illuminated worktop in A0 and A1 formats.
