Tool Hangers — The Complete Basis for an Organised Workshop

Tool hangers (also called holders, hooks or tool racks) are elements fixed to perforated panels on which you organise hand tools, spanners, screwdrivers, measuring tapes, hammers and pliers. A standard hanger has a hook bent downwards that slides into a hole in the panel and snaps in at the back. The tool hangs on the hook — visible, within reach in one movement, in a fixed place (the 5S principle).

At CentrumWarsztatowe.pl we offer 2 series of hangers and storage bins:

ZW series — standard hangers

ZW hangers are classic hangers made of 4 mm galvanised steel. Straight and U-shaped hooks — for typical tools: open-end spanners, pliers, hammers and measuring tapes. The most popular version and the basis for organising any perforated panel.

ZWN series — spring-loaded hangers

ZWN hangers have a built-in clamping spring that holds the tool even when the panel is shaken. Recommended for small precision tools that could fall off a simple hook: screwdrivers, hex keys, gauges, callipers and socket wrenches.

P1/P2/P3 storage bins

Available in three sizes: P1 storage bins, P2 and P3. For storing small items, workshop drawer units are also a good choice.

In addition to the hangers, we offer plastic bins in three sizes for small parts:

• P1 (~100×80×50 mm) — M3–M6 screws, washers, small nuts
• P2 (~160×100×80 mm) — M8–M12 screws, dowels, small fittings
• P3 (~240×140×120 mm) — M14+ screws, spare parts

The bins are attached with hangers to a perforated panel or to workshop shelving. Available in 5 colours (red, blue, yellow, green, grey) — so you can sort categories by colour.

5×5 mm hole standard — universal compatibility

All our hangers use the standard European 5×5 mm hole pattern on a 32 mm grid. This means full compatibility with:

FAQ

Do the hangers fit panels from other manufacturers?
Yes — the 5×5 mm hole standard at 32 mm pitch is international. They fit all European manufacturers (Bahco, Würth, Stanley, Promag, Beta). Exception: some Knipex panels with 4×4 mm holes.

Which type of hangers should I choose for a car workshop?
A mixed set: 60% ZW (spanners, hammers, measuring tapes) + 30% ZWN (screwdrivers, gauges, hex keys) + 10% P2/P3 bins (small parts). Typically for a 1500×900 mm panel: 30–40 hangers + 10–15 bins.

Can the hangers be fitted without tools?
Yes — you slide the hook into a hole in the panel and it snaps in automatically. Removal takes one movement. You can change the panel layout freely without driving in screws.

Are the hangers galvanised or painted?
Standard is silver zinc plating — the most durable and corrosion-resistant. For bulk orders (200+ pcs) we powder-coat in any RAL colour (e.g. red for safety functions, yellow for rarely used tools).
