What the classified documents certificate means
For this range the manufacturer declares a certificate for storing classified documents class A under national military security regulations, as well as compliance with the requirements of Type 1 class under the national Council of Ministers regulation on the protection of classified information.
In practice this means the cabinet can form part of the physical security measures in secure registries and units processing classified information. Institutions subject to this obligation cannot use an ordinary office cabinet — the lack of a certificate is a deficiency identified during inspections.
Sealing and floor fixing
The doors have seal pins, and the base of the cabinet has two holes for fixing to the floor. These are not decorative extras — the physical security regulations require lighter cabinets to be permanently secured to the floor, otherwise the whole unit can be carried away together with its contents.
A seal, in turn, does not prevent opening, it reveals. In the handling of classified documents, detectability of access matters, not just blocking it — a broken seal is proof that someone has looked inside between inspections.
Two independent locks
The cabinet has a main lock locking at 3 to 5 points, depending on its size, finished with a lever handle, and an additional class A certified key lock. Two independent mechanisms mean that defeating one does not open the cabinet.
How it differs from an ordinary office cabinet
The difference is measurable: a body made of 1 mm steel sheet instead of 0.8 mm in the BU, BP and BŻ ranges. Thicker steel sheet means a stiffer body that is harder to bend open when someone tries to prise the door.
Construction and finish
The body is made of bent and welded steel sheet, powder-coated with epoxy-polyester paints. The powder coating is heat-cured, so it withstands everyday rubbing from lever-arch files and cleaning with detergents without dulling, unlike wet-applied paint.
The base colour is RAL 7035, i.e. light grey — a neutral shade that does not stand out in an office and does not show dust as clearly as white. Four additional colours from the RAL palette are available at no extra cost, and the others are quoted individually.
The furniture comes to you straight from the manufacturer, with no intermediaries — hence lead times measured in weeks rather than days, and hence the ability to match the colour to existing furnishings.

Frequently asked questions about MONA192/1
Does this cabinet meet the requirements for classified documents?
The manufacturer declares a class A certificate under national military security regulations and compliance with the requirements of the Type 1 class under the national Council of Ministers regulation. We supply the certification documents on request before purchase — for orders from public institutions, it is worth asking for them at the tender stage.
Does the cabinet have to be bolted to the floor?
Two mounting holes are prepared in the base. For classified documents, anchoring is sometimes required by physical security regulations — the conditions depend on the classification of the documents and the weight of the cabinet, so the decision lies with the classified information protection officer in the given unit.
Can the doors be sealed?
Yes, the doors have factory-fitted seal pins. This makes it possible to monitor access between periodic inspections — a broken seal reveals that the cabinet has been opened.
What does the number in the MONA code mean?
The number encodes the cabinet height in centimetres. MONA192 is 1920 mm high. The digit after the slash denotes the number of door leaves.
How much can one shelf hold?
The shelf load capacity is up to 50 kg. An A4 lever-arch file filled with documents weighs about 2 kg, so the limit corresponds to a shelf filled with files across its whole width.
Can the shelf height be changed?
Yes, the shelves are adjustable in 90 mm steps. This lets you adapt the space to files of different heights or free up room for archive boxes.
