A1 plan and map cabinet with illuminated worktop, 7 drawers is a metal cabinet with seven drawers, designed for storing maps, plans and technical documentation up to a maximum format of A-1. The drawers run on telescopic runners with a safety stop preventing them from being pulled out, and the whole cabinet is closed with one central lock.
The cabinet worktop is illuminated, so it also serves as a light table for working on documents on transparent media — tracing paper, foils and films.

Why large-format documentation should not be rolled up
A plan stored in a roll remembers the curl. Once unrolled it curls back up by itself, has to be weighed down at the four corners, and every time it is unrolled the paper creases along the same lines.
Storing flat in a drawer eliminates this problem and takes up less space than tubes — one cabinet replaces dozens of rolls standing in a corner.
