When hinged doors are a problem
An open door of a cabinet 900 mm wide takes up nearly half a metre of space in front of it. In a narrow office or along a circulation route, this means a blocked passage every time someone reaches for a file.
Solutions without hinged doors — sliding doors and tambour shutters — eliminate this problem at the expense of simultaneous access to the full width of the interior.
Construction and finish
The body is made of bent and welded steel sheet, powder-coated with epoxy-polyester paints. The powder coating is heat-cured, so it withstands everyday rubbing from lever-arch files and cleaning with detergents without dulling, unlike wet-applied paint.
The base colour is RAL 7035, i.e. light grey — a neutral shade that does not stand out in an office and does not show dust as clearly as white. Four additional colours from the RAL palette are available at no extra cost, and the others are quoted individually.
The furniture comes to you straight from the manufacturer, with no intermediaries — hence lead times measured in weeks rather than days, and hence the ability to match the colour to existing furnishings.
