Workshop trolley WWS/7 Lab is a narrow workshop trolley 650 mm wide, with a welded construction and no parts protruding beyond its outline. It holds 7 drawers, and the worktop is reinforced and lined with ribbed rubber.
The drawers slide out on fully ball-bearing telescopic runners with full extension — tools at the back of the drawer are accessible without reaching in.
This is the version offered to schools purchasing equipment under the school laboratory equipment programme. The construction and specifications are identical to the standard version.

Full extension — why it changes the way you work
A full-extension runner lets you pull the drawer out over its whole depth. With a partial-extension runner, the last dozen or so centimetres stay under the worktop, so tools at the back have to be felt for by hand.
With a drawer full of socket spanners the difference is practical: either you see the whole set at once, or you search by touch. The runners are fully ball-bearing, so the drawer stays smooth even under full load.
Ø125 mm wheels and welded construction
The trolley stands on four wheels 125 mm in diameter — two fixed and two swivel, one of which has a brake. The larger wheel diameter copes with thresholds, cables and uneven floors, on which a smaller wheel gets stuck and jerks the trolley.
The construction is welded and has no parts protruding beyond its outline. This means the trolley does not catch on door frames and does not go out of true from shocks, as bolted constructions do.
Anti-tilt lock
The system allows only one drawer to be pulled out at a time. The trolley is narrow and tall, and a drawer full of tools weighs several dozen kilograms — two pulled out at once would shift the centre of gravity beyond the wheels.
School laboratory equipment programme — what it means when purchasing
The school laboratory equipment programme is a government programme for equipping primary schools with equipment for practical classes. Workshop equipment falls within its scope, which is why the manufacturer offers versions of its models designated for this programme.
The designated version does not differ from the standard one in construction or price — it simply makes it easier to describe the item in purchasing documentation. Eligibility of the expenditure is determined by the school and its governing body, not by the product designation; if in doubt, it is worth confirming the scope before placing an order.

Frequently asked questions about trolley WWS/7 Lab
Do the drawers extend to their full depth?
Yes, the runners have full extension and are fully ball-bearing. The entire contents of the drawer are visible and accessible without reaching under the worktop.
How much can one drawer hold?
The load capacity of one drawer is 45 kg. A socket set in a case weighs about 10–15 kg, so the limit covers several sets in one drawer.
Can the trolley be locked in place?
Yes. The trolley stands on Ø125 mm wheels, one of which is fitted with a brake — once positioned at the workstation, it does not roll away when you reach into a drawer.
How does the school laboratory equipment programme version differ from the standard one?
In construction and price — not at all. The designation indicates that the model is offered to schools purchasing under the programme. Eligibility of the expenditure is determined by the school and its governing body.
What colours is the trolley available in?
What colours is the cabinet available in?
What is the lead time?
Standard is 3–7 weeks. From November to January the lead time may be longer due to the higher volume of orders.
